ABOUT

Although Central Cuesports Limited has only been trading
since 1999, the history of the company goes back
considerably further. Formed by father and son Bob and
Alan McCabe in March 1992, Jubilee Snooker Limited was
the source of the current business. Operating from premises
in Camelon Main Street, where we continue to trade, the
small Jubilee Club managed to prosper at a time when many
local clubs were closing down. Business growth allowed
Jubilee Snooker Limited to purchase the Falkirk Snooker
Centre in Bainsford in late summer 1995, this club having
been in operation since 1981. While The Creamery Restaurant
was already a thriving part of this organisation, the new
owners revamped the club completely, with the most drastic
change seeing the opening of Uncle Sam's American Pool
Room in 1996. An acrimonious company split in 1999 saw
Central Cuesports inherit both the Camelon and Bainsford
clubs, this effectively returning the business to the McCabe
family. Lately, Bob's youngest son Scott has also joined
in the business, and due to the fall in interest for Snooker,
Jubilee has been re-launched as Uncle Sam's American Billiard
Hall given our sister clubs success with it's American Pool room.
